The engine is a stock LS7 (which you can order as a crate engine from GM Performance Parts), but we added a GM Hot cam, a set of tri-Y headers, and a complete exhaust system with Burns mufflers. The final dyno numbers were 585 hp and 540 lb-ft of torque.
Holy hell, that thing is @!#$in sweet.

Then two wrongs make a roundhouse kick to the face.

I have the hotrod issue right next to my stash of other boob mags... It's an aphrodesiac knowing that there is a car can THUMP other exotics, at less than the price of a Corvette.
It gives me a funny feeling in my tummy. And I like it.

And now for something completely different... Click the Minister.

Wheels/tires: Custom 19x9 and 19x10 CCW wheels wear Michelin Pilot II tires, 265/35R19 front and 305/30R19 rear. On the strip, the rears are swapped for 315/30R19 BFGoodrich Drag Radials on 19x11 CCW wheels.
Did you guys notice this? That's better then the standard 4cyl versions!

What was the cost of the car? I didn't see that in the article. I can't imagine it would be that much less that a vette.
I would like to know how close a production version would be to this.
