Though I loved my '00 Z24 and it was definitely an awesome value and suprisingly quick, I ended up selling it to my sister for $3100 and buying this for $4k from a dealer (its worth about $6k)





I know most of you probably aren't stoked on SAABs, but I have always loved them and am glad to be back in one. It's got a 2.0 turbo, 180hp stock and 194lb-ft torque. 3060lbs curb weight. Leather (as you can see), 6 disc changer, dual climate, power everything/moonroof, etc etc. I couldn't be happier. Well I could, if it were a Viggen.

I'll still be around a little but definitely not as much as I will be on saabnet. Thanks for all the useful info that everyone has provided me with and for inspiration and advice.

nice choice. I like Saab's. Those things really haul ass, most people have no idea.

haha yeah saab hasn't made a rwd car in a long time. that motor is really solid though, would make ecotec guys proud. I have plans for it. Too bad all the ecu upgrades are expensive as hell. $550 for the nordic tuning upgrade. Good thing is... when you spend $1500 you get what you pay for... $1800 buys you a used supercharger for the cavalier, but $1500 buys you the stage 3 nordic tuning upgrade, 280hp, 290lb-ft torque... safely. Guess I'd better start saving! Plus you can swap in tons of parts from the 2.3 viggen motor/turbo setup. The seats are MINT in the back, and the front ones aren't bad at all, but the driver one clearly shows some wear, it does have 100k. Thanks for the kind words. I feel bad for the ln2 guys because now my sister has a faster car than them :p

agreed, Saab really dropped the ball on those wheels. But the Viggen's wheels are the perfect look on those cars.

that's definitely a bargain. 100hp = $5000 on a bimmer.
but before that upgrade... I would do a subtle drop and a tint. I'd leave the wheels....
unless a set of viggen style wheels fell into my lap.
