2003 was the first year of the sports sedan. So they have quite a few more "bugs" than later years.
I would check the coolant bottle to see if it has any residue on the inside of the bottle. Then I would check and see if it has had the engine and radiator replaced yet. lol

its a lil harder to make em fast because you have alot fo computer sensors controlling boost.

I loved it when I test drove it.. very stiff suspension... great feel, decently fast, a lot of electronics I would need to get used to as well...

Well mainly the radiators in the 03's went bad..... at the trans cooler, causing trans fluid and coolant to mix. Which destroyed the transmission. I haven't heard of any problems with the 5 or 6 speed manual transmissions.
Yeah the vector probably has sport suspension and most every option as well.
And like snowman said, it's hard to upgrade these cars (saabs) because of the extensive engine management system. And last I've heard from a customer they said no one makes an intake for it and the b.o.v. is mounted onto the turbo and recirculates it back into the inlet side. Not sure if they make an aftermarket one.(probably would be useless anyways)
Overall it's a nice car with lots of options at a decent price. And it's a very safe car. I think 5 star side impact ratiing. It has like 7 airbags.

Hirsch performance is one place to look although their prices are high as hell! But...it does maintain the factory warranty!
I have an 06 Saab 93 and I couldn't be happier with mine!! Best car I have ever owned!!! I know the 2.0 Ecotec in them have many upgrades...I have the 2.8 V6 turbo in mine and I can get about anything through Hirsch...just pretty costly!
