think of it this way.
a Porsche Cayenne Turbo S makes 520hp and it costs $110,000.
its 0-60 is 4.8 seconds opposed to the SRT600's 3.7 seconds.
A Porsche is a Porsche... A Jeep is Chrysler.
There's a big difference in brand quality

if you love your trail blazer so much than why don't you marry it lol
nothing wrong with loving your ride right?
oh and check your email, or unclick the email option for the forums. I keep getting bounce back emails for the address: rev@urbnet.com
i got that, im just tossing it back haha, its like a camaro and stang guy... the srt vs the ss, i gotta represent haha
Love the Jeep SRT8, but I would never buy one from that hack Hennessey. HPE has had MANY problems, both legal and mechanical.
Hopefully some reputable company will start tuning those. I really love the body style of the GrandCherokees.
Really?
Answer me this:
You have a broke SRT-600, and a broke Cayenne S... I'll bet you dollars to donuts the Porsche will be on the road faster.
20 years hence:
You have a SRT-600, and a Cayenne S... I'll bet the same that you'll get higher money out of the Cayenne S because a modded Jeep is still a liability no matter who did the work.
Porsche is a high marque brand for a reason. Build quality, targeted demographics pricing and overall on-road and racing acumen are the reason they can justify those prices.
BTW, while a SRT-600 may do better in the 1/4 mile, TURN that thing @ 90 mph and let me know how you make out... Cayenne S's can do that, and a LOT more.

You ain't neva lying on that one!!!
How's it feel to get beat by a pickup!
Ask yourself one question punk..That Thing Got A HEMI?
I know a few 911 owners that would beg to differ, but that's besides the point. (even though it's a 911 turbo boxer in the Cayenne S)
Why don't you see more SRT-8s on the street?
Money is one thing, but honestly put, If I had the money for an SRT-8 Cherokee or a Cayenne, depending on the crowd I run with, I wouldn't consider either because quite honestly, I don't need 300 extra pounds up front doing pretty much nothing all the time. Unless you really need it, why go higher than a Honda Fit?
Put it this way, I wouldn't buy an SUV unless I needed one. And if I have the money, bollocks to what whatever someone else thinks, I'm buying what I decide to buy, price points and cost of ownership be damned.
