Hey all, I have a 87 culass supreme 4 door. I want new doors and rear quarter panels. First of all is there any other car that I can get these parts off of? will any g-body work for parts? Also is there anywhere I can buy them 'new'. Lastly is there certi-fit panels made for the rear quarter panels?

i'm pretty sure the doors are the same for all g-bodies. rear quarters are slightly different between the models.

I don't know about that being a g-body - at least I don't think so. My 88 olds cutlas ciera is a "A-body" not a G-body. I'd assume the 87 cutlas supreme would be the same body platform.

Speaking of my "new" car - does anyone know where to get performance parts for the older GM 3.8L(SFI)? Google hasn't turned up anything too good so far...




I've never heard of this "part throttle" before. Does it just bolt on?

I don't believe the sedans are G-bodies either...

i beleive the cutlass supreme 4 dr is a g body wouldnt make since for GM to make it on a different platform and its RWD the cutlass ciera is FWD

87 was the year that they transitioned from g-body to a-body. the supreme was the rear wheel drive g-body. the calais was the front wheel drive a-body.
