My buddy has a '96 Ford Probe GT. Ever since he's had it (3+ years) its always kicked alot harder to shift into 2nd gear. A few months ago it just stopped shifting into 2nd gear. The only way to go thru the gears is by starting out in 1, 2, 3, then Drive. He doesn't remember if or when the last time he had is fluid and filter changed in the transmission.

any help with this would be greatly appreciated.
