So i'm sleeping and its about time for me to get up for work. She calls and its 4pm where she is. She told me she took the sentra to the dealer to get the paint fixed (another long story i'm totally pissed off about) I asked her how it went. She said great the paint is nice and shiny and red. Ok i'm half asleep but I know our car is white. WTF...she said while she was waiting for them to look at it do some paperwork etc.. she walked over and started looking at the GTO's i've been talking so highly about lately. Long story short she tests drives one. She said a while ago she likes the way they look. Well after driving one she fell in love with it. So she took it home. With all the work i've been doing on my credit our payments barely moved. Our insurance didn't go up much at all either. Actually down. Because it dropped a @!#$ ton and now its going back up a little because of the GTO. But still cheaper than we had originally planned.
So she ended up with a 2006 GTO red with black leather with red stitching. It has 8k miles on it but sold as a new car with the warranty starting at 8k because it was a dealer vehicle. I just gotta wait for some papers and send em back. She's going to snap some pictures in the morning. I'll post pictures soon as she sends me them and all the details on it.
Now when I get home and get my camaro like I had planned i'm going to have to do some work. My wife can't have a faster car than me.

I think what my husband meant to say is ...Since MY WIFE has been working so hard to fix my credit since I left in January it has gone up almost 60 points so now we can actaully pay less each month for a more expensive car since we will have an awesome interest rate....and without her help I'd be paying $500 a month for the next 6 years on that damn sentra.. right honey?
I really love the GTO. It was raining here yesterday and I spun the tires pretty much every time I took off, I've never done that before. I think I should start a separate savings account for the tickets we are going to get

I know of another couple who have the car seat back there and pretty soon I'll be looking to get a car seat back there when I have kids next year as well. I don't think it will destory the image too much lol
Yeah but sometimes it's nice to take the carseat out and leave it at home with Kalie and the babysitter (grandma) so we can go out and act our age.

So how do you feel about a new G6 instead of a GTO? It's black with tan leather interior and one of those hard top convertible things. You just push a button and it opens up!! It's amazing!
sealing problems rabbits girl. the tops seals have been going bad lately a long with the solstice seals (im a tech at a pontiac dealer here in vegas) they are very nice cars. have a six speed option if you get the gtp. and are pretty quick. but please for the love of god dont get rid of the gto

I sense an argument coming up soon.
On one hand, Scott, she's supporting you and trying to make you feel better while you are away. Being seperated from family while on TDY is difficult on all parties.
On the other, I agree that some things should be kept private. Continue to support him, Lynnette, but I guarantee he would rather have the attention from the bedroom talk coming from him only, not everyone else here.
