Hey, i posted a topic on here awhile back or on ecotec power mentioning i order my turbo kit form hahn. Well, i finally got it a few months ago and got it installed. It held about 7 pounds. I thought it was supposed to hold 8. Well after playing around with it i finally game to the point that i thought that maybe my muffler held some back up pressure on it and it wouldn't fully boost. I was correct. I cut that baby off and it held at 8 or 9. I have never seen on here any body asking about problems holding 8 pounds due to the muffler. I got sick of 8 pounds went and got a boost controller. I am now and been spiking 14 and holding at 11. Every thread i have read people blew up there engines. i Have been holding that boost for over 3 - 4 months. Hopefully it does not mess up. I went and test drove the cobalt ss. I am so disapointed on how slow the boost goes up stock. I was expecting a big kick. every one i have talked to loves the stock and however the stage 2. The stock is so bad. i hit in 2nd 3rd and 4th and it feels like a mini van could take it. i was going to buy one but i am scared the stage 2 wont give me what i want. does anyone think the ss supercharged is fast out there stock? or have i just got used to pushin so much boost instantly turbod? i want to get a cobalt but i dont think the stage 2 couldn't even handle my cav. I just raced a v 8 L T 1 camero about an hour ago. 3 times. i whooped him everytime. i could not see that slow ass 2.0 doing anything like that stage 2 or not. Someone talk to me bout that and let me know what they think of the ss supercharged stage 2. does it put u back in ur seat. first off your gonna blow up your engine running 11-14psi, secondly the only reason you think the ss s/c is slow is because your used to the way your turbo kicks in. on a s/c car the boost is linear and pulls like an N/A engine and has no surge of power, not to mention the cobalt is a 10x more refined car and will feel like your going slower then you really are compared to a j-body. Lt1 camaros are only low to mid 14 second cars right in class with a stock cobalt ss s/c while the camaro is just a tad quicker there still in the same range. a stage 2 cobalt can run well into the 13's especially with a 2.8-2.85 pulley
also i doubt anyone will give you there phone # lol
buy a cobalt ss 2.4 turbocharge it. what are people getting over 350whp on a stock motor?
