Nope, still alive.
Luckily she wasnt there when it happened, cause I am sure it would have not gone over well. Her dad is the man though and helped us get the new motor swapped faster than ever. Turns out there have been other early 05 tCs have had issues like that even with the TRD supercharger and just bolt-ons too, which was odd to find out. The new motor is from an 06 and has been no problem at all. Good times.

That seems to be the safe bet. 06 or later. There are other 05 owners at scionlife.com that have listed having similar issues, be it from boost or even just bolt-ons. Pretty crazy.
