i just got a crazy idea ... tell me if its stupid or not lol
i was thinking to keep my 98 Trans Am and get a color matching Yaris as a daily driver instead of selling the T/A and getting a RSX-S
idk what do you guys think?
the first thing i would do is hook it up with a body kit and nice rims like this
i think it doesn't look to bad for a jelly bean
Yaris is a great car and it's got rock bottom insurance premiums. You could do a lot worse than a "Hot Hatch".

im averaging 19 mpg on 93 octane right now with 75% highway. 34C/40H on 87 sounds very refreshing
i just wish the damn car had a tachometer ugg, maybe they have it for 08 models??
The Yaris has that crappy center console speedometer. Just install a tach right in front of the steering wheel where you'd normally have a speedo. Perfect place for it.
that pic is exactly why i love the Yaris, ive seen many looking like that in mags. also Blitz makes a supercharger for it, made 160ish hp with thier exhaust system. not bad in a 2400 lb car.

The blitz kit is cool....but that misses the point. He's already got a fast car that sucks Premium gas like it's going out of style. He wants a stock economy car. And the Yaris is the best looking in that catagory.

The Yaris looks almost exactly like the Aveo, which everybody loves to piss on and complain about.
I'm confused now.
My brother loves cars like the Yaris, and I'm usually the first to tell him he's a moron, however... That one looks pretty slick. I'd say go for it.

So, you're 24. Do you have a house? If you don't, buy one of those instead of spending more money on cars. You have no idea how nice it is to buy something that will increase in value, rather then be worthless in 5 years or so.
If you have a house, good for you. You are a smart man, and buy what ever car you like.

go get a mercedes smart car if you want mileage...yah its slow and looks bad, and sucks all around... but it gets like 50+ highway

look at it.. your insurance will probably go down having them both on. i bought an 04 GTO in june and just bought a 95 del sol to commute to work to keep me from tacking up the miles on the nice car. plus i get double the mpg. i say get something. doesnt have to be the yaris, but keep the car you like and buy something to run around town in.

in a 2300lb car thats pretty decent im sure it would be at least a low 14 second car if not faster... i bet that would surprise some people lol

If I had the money to have a T/A, and a house, and cover all the bills, and have money left over: I'd hook up a Yaris.
Currently, I'm in that position: 2 cars (winter beater Alero, Altima SE-R) House, and spare money (once my bills get consolidated).
