Finally gave in and bought one, I've driven my cousins for years, and the 07 was the last of the good ones (the 08's are NASTY!) I've already found a new front end which smooths out the grill area which is the only thing I don't car for, I plan on getting rid of the big spoiler eventually also.

Bought a Borla exhaust also which the dealer installed.

These truly are drivers cars, the funnest cars to drive I have alot more fun in this than my C5. I still have the C5, debating on selling it or not, but there's no hurry so for now it stays.

Thats my hopeful next car as well!! I wanna get one of the last generation as well, but I'll probably keep it stock externally...all performance stuff; like suspension, engine and whatnot....

FSTCAVz24- The car has 108k, (runs perfect obviously the lsx's are incredible). But it's an AUTO. Not a big deal if you have a tranny to drop in. New brakes and rotors all the way around, new alternator and battery. Only problems have been minor electrical glitches common on C5's. The paint is good but the roof DEF needs to be repainted. (it's a glass top and the sun had faded it.). Its a perfect project car if you have the resources which I know you do and the will, I'll let her go for around 12k to the right buyer. I purchased the car in michigan, so I don't know if it's been driven winters ( i haven't done so, im the 2nd owner) But the undercairage is clean it's the first thing I looked at

Kevin Richter- Don't think this changes things bud My favorite look is still 98z year with import fighter front, I can save up until end of next summer and grab a cheap 98. I wasn't joking it's a good memmory of mine having my two j-bodies, I feel COMPELLED to get another someday I plan to have just my sti and a Cav within the next couple years.

hmm my friend had an 06, and although I'll say it was fun...I just didn't think they were 32k fun...I dunno. Will not knock its build quality though...well built cars and loads of potential

well it's a nice car but theres is absolutely no way in hell you can have more fun in a subaru(any model) than in a c5(or any vette for that matter) i don't know what the @!#$ this @!#$ world is coming to lol sorry man but i say its the vette ftw but that doesen't mean the subaru isn't a worthy car lol. and lose the aweful carrying handle lol
