Ok, her car throws a cel, go to autozone.

they say its p0171, which is system to lean bank 1, checked nissan forums and it seems like its an 02 sensor.

does anyone know where this is located? have any information or maybe an online manual or something?

Thanks guys.

its the primary o2 on bank 1 , on a 4cyl its the only o2 between the head and cat

on a v6 its on the same side of the motor as the # 1 cylinder

yeah best get that fixed the car is gonna run like poo and eat up gas with a failed primary o2.

its a pretty easy fix too you can pick up the part at autozone
open the hood unplug and unscrew the old sensor then screw in and plug in the new one. it shouldn't take anymore then 10-20mins with the right tools... sometimes they can be stuck though then its a pain in the ass to get it to unscrew

good luck

true that. If it is hard to turn, don't drive the car for day or two and dowse the nut in P.B. Blaster continually and try again.
