Dodge announced pricing today for the modern interpretation of the American muscle coupe. The Dodge Challenger SRT will arrive in showrooms next spring at a Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) of $37,995 (which includes $675 destination).
Due to unprecedented demand, Dodge dealers will begin taking orders on Dec. 3 for the limited-edition 2008 Dodge Challenger SRT8 models. Each will feature a numbered dash plaque and a 6.1-liter HEMI V-8 engine. Challenger SRT8 models will be available in Black, Silver and HEMI Orange. All will feature dual “carbon-fiber” hood stripes, harkening back to the original Dodge Challenger.
The all-new Dodge Challenger SRT8 will be built at the Chrysler Canada Assembly Plant in Brampton, Ontario, on the same assembly line with the Dodge Charger, Charger SRT8, Magnum, Magnum SRT8, Chrysler 300 and Chrysler 300 SRT8 vehicles.
Pricing for the complete all-new Dodge Challenger lineup will be announced at a later date.

thats awesome and all but I'll still wait for the camaro.. but that is one sweet ride
**changes are here**
so 37k for a regular one probably 50 or more for the srt8
It says the SRT is an MSRP of $38,000... does that mean the 5.7's are gonna be high $20's and the 6's are in the low $20's? If Dodge is smart they will be

I personally can't stand the looks of the new camaro (and I'm probably the only one), but the Challenger definately looks bad ass. It might just be the angle of the picture, but the hood looks a little oddly shaped, though.

"Youth in Asia"...I don't see anything wrong with that.

I would guess RTs will be low 30s like the charger.

already up two grand in what, a day and a half? god damn, at least it's an American car and in two years you'll be able to pick up one with $10,000 in rebates.

I'm with ya on that one.....
Stupid question folks . . .
It says limited edition SRT8 models. Does that mean they won't have a mainstream STR8, or does that mean that only a few 2008's will be made and then it will be mass-produced in 2009?
