Just one question though, why if it has michigan plates does it list the speedo in kmh instead of mph. and if that is in kmh and half sweep is only 80 kmph... something wierd is going on because there's no way it would be limited to 160 kmph... maybe 160 mph which is something like 256 kmph. so are these photos doctored or what is going on??

on a lot of the newer GM cars they don't list KM/H like they did on the old ones, you can change it through the driver control and it will display the km/h that you see on the cluster. why its like that, i dunno.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say the kph gauges are because this is a pre-production prototype from either the Canada plant or Austrailia plated with domestic plates for the picture.

Maybe not...
Look at the g8 and the MPG on the V6 against the V8
its within 1-2 MPG...
the V8 kicks down to 4cyl when cruising if I remember correctly.

its not even out yet and the car is already getting played out....
At one point I was convinced I was going to buy one... I could afford it and I wanted one so bad... the problem is its been a concept in the works for so @!#$ long its lost its appeal to me. By the time you can actually buy it its gonna feel like they should be coming out with the next generation already. Everyone knows the car, its been a star of a movie, you can buy countless posters of it, modles, remote control cars, its in video games, its on hats and t-shirts, its all over the internet, its old news.

well for one, some magazine broke the embargo, none of this was to be released until monday the 21st. But, from what I've read the RS is an "appearance package" for the SS. We'll just have to wait until monday to get all the official details.

i cant even remember when it was first announced it was so long ago
maybe there will be some gas left on the planet to run the things when they come out..?
kinda seems like a bad time to be coming back with these muscle cars.. gonna hurt sales I'd imagine.

This is exactly how i feel. I am so tired of seeing it, I wouldnt even buy one now. Considering I've already see the Challenger out, I dont have any clue why this is taking so long to get to consumers.
