My wife and I love our 06 CRV. My next car will be a honda. In my limited experience they have few bells and whistles, but what they do have is well built and it's already exceeded my expectations.

If you don't mind me asking, how much did you pay for the car? Something like that would own if I could find it locally. Looking forward to pics.

i traded my jeep wrangler yj for it i moved to the city and didnt do much 4x4ing so it was time for a change and j's are just too expensive to build. i found it on craigslist he was asking 5k for it tho. low miles and the nitrous added to the price they average around 3 to 4 g's for a somewhat built one. and here is a picture of her

Mount senrty guns around it it at night.

Love the cars some are pretty damn fast. But thieves are even faster to pick them off.

Best of luck with the car bro.

yeah no doubt on the thieving i have the club that mounts under the column so if they want it they are going to have to drag it away. the way i see it they deserve it if they go to all that trouble. this one isn't my project tho its pretty much done and super sleeper looking (not sounding), did some on say two fortee?

Ha, over on the opposite side of the state they flatbed/dolly one almost daily.

Nothing beyond GPS tracking will do @!#$ for you, they'll get it if they want it. It's rough here.

Half the time with GPS even you're too late.

clubs are worthless , takes seconds to cut through the stock steering wheels

Exactly, how ever they do have one that mounts on your break pedal or your clutch. So you can't drive off.

Also as far as flat bedding it...yea I would worry more about that. I have a car hauler trailer I use to tow cars. I got a sweet deal on an electric wench and I ended up hauling so many broke down cars I installed on it. I bet I could come by in the middle of the day and put it up on a trailer and no one would say a word. Heck I could prolly get someone to watch the front for me and tell me if I'm gonna scrape.

nice little hatch.

my brother picked up an EG 4 door a few months back. its still not running due to parts and stuff like that but im workin on making it a fun whip for him.

the ONLY thing i can complain about is the paint. not a fan of teal. other than that its a pretty sick little hatch. with a similar build to what im planning for my brothers EG

so i think i have the full or close to it parts rundown for your daily serving of rice. dc header, 5 zigen exhaust, 96 GSR B-16 built just not sure on the internals waiting for the email from the shop, Just had some viper gps alarm goodness put in, ground control coilovers, del sol si wheels, short throw, stage 3 clutch, stall, super ricey shift light (its coming out), cai, tuned ecu, broken hood release cable, sweet freaking bra lolz, and a good friend that comes in a blue bottle. and 114k actual on chasis 60k on engine. not to bad for my first honda kinda sucks that its pretty much done, just means a little more track time for me i guess. it was all professionally built and tuned so it pretty much feels like it was meant to be like this from the factory. i am about to head out and get some pics of the sleeper.

Not a fan of the rims, but otherwise nice. I would ditch the car bra, trade up for a painted CF hood (all the sleeperness with none of the weight), and see about paint matching the door handles.

96 GSR? A GSR is an Integra and only comes in a B18....at least for 96. Its gonna be a 1.8L DOHC Vtec

well im a honda newb its a dohc vtec guess ill have to call the engine shop back and figure out which engine i actually have. they told me they pulled it out of a gsr tho.

Its gonna be a B18C1 then. You can find it stamped on the front of the engine on the block just under the head. If its a b16 it'll say B16A2 or something of that. Depends on what it came out of. If its a GSR motor it'll say B18C1 if its an Integra LS motor it'll say B18B You get the point.

If you notice B18C1 Acura Integra GSR 1994-2001

If he has a 1996 GSR swap from US then its a B18C1. If its a B18C1 then its a USDM motor. Because if you notice it states a B18C1 is from an Acura Integra. Acura being the keyword there Japan does not have an Acura Integra only a Honda Integra.

If it was a JDM GSR swap it would just be a B18C which is very uncommon because that is an extremely "Bunk" motor in japan. HAHA

Intake, Exhaust, drop zone springs, KYB Gas Struts, Slotted and cross drilled rotors, upper strut tower bar, put the stock tails back in, clear turn sigs up front. I have a B16 head sitting in my storage unit waiting for me to stop spending money on other things and get it Port and polished with type R internals. I still need a few parts for LS-Vtec though.

Its gonna have to wait though I'm going to look at a 240sx today.

its a b18c usdm motor. i work with a few honda guys and had them point it out to me. taking it to the track on jan 9th to get a time slip.

rabbit im looking at a few 240's right now also the civic is going to be my dd.

A stock GSR motor in a hatch should give you a decent time. Depends on what tranny they used also. If they used a GSR tranny its not bad but no LSD.

I want to build a hybrid tranny. Basically you take a GSR tranny put in LSD in it, use a B16 first gear and an LS 5th gear. So you get the best of all of them.

Re: so i bought a honda...

my gearing is super tight, but i dont know if it has the lsd or not. im thinking the only thing i want to do to the engine would be itb's... haha we'll see. 240 comes first
