Not true. Some cars have names because of owner preference, others get names from exploits it had partaken in. My car is called "Epicorolla", because a friend and I did a boy racer style cruise (music as loud as you can stand, stomp on the gas until you hit the speed limit, etc.) with all four windows down blasting the Chronicles of Narnia soundtrack.
