My conscience is clear on all possible counts.
1. Last year, I was delayed in completing a custom product development project (Mike Long's HHR) for months due to taking a months-long sabbatical to care for a dying parent. However correct my choice was, it's been a real eye-opening life lesson how many people will lower themselves to criticizing me for it.
2. This year, I made some whiny people cry so hard, causing them to see so much red through their bloodshot eyes...they could not help but try to affect me in any way possible. Fail. Like their useless bleatings, bringing this thread back up can't hurt me either (see reason #1 above).

About two months ago Bill Hahn apologized, I did too, and we agreed to work things out.

I have even removed the emails from Hahn RaceCraft as a ign of good faith on my part and offered to work something out on the domains that I bought. This still may work out, I hope it does, but i am afraid that it is going to get ugly before it is over.
Am I really asking too much? My car sits parked most of the time now. The 4000rpm thing has gotten me into some pretty scary situations, like accelerating into traffic and suddenly losing power! YIKES!! I wish I had just left it with the ZEX set up I had. A 75 sot was a crap load of fun, my car just ain't ffun any more.
Glad to see you back here Mike. I did not threaten you with a lawsuit. I let you know what my legal help has advised me as to my position. I can only presume that you also worked with legal help...I'd think it perhaps reckless to do what you did had you not. Is that not how you showed me your legal position, by exercising the same option?
I asked that you agree to take down the smear website you created by pirating my company's name, in exchange for me completing the project. I think it's a fair offer. If you don't agree, that's your prerogative.

Start with the legal archives at your local library. While search terms like "douchebag" and "two @#$s" will likely not get you much, broaden your horizons a bit and look up some of the terminology I mentioned. If it gets a little too "arrogant dbaggy" for you in there, you could ask a Librarian to translate it into smaller words.

I say, in the end, as it sits now, the guy has a car that is LESS fun, less reliable, and even scary for him to drive.... 1. Nothing I said about your antics here have anything to do with "making my friends squirm". It's all about the way YOU act on here. Doesn't matter who it's towards. Most of them I hardly even know, wouldn't call them friends. I am simply talking about YOUR actions.
2. Aside from the month or 2 you were taking care of family matters, it seems to me that the kid has had the car back to you a couple of times without you being able to fix the engine light. He also mentioned a loss of power in a rather early RPM range, and some starting issues.... I'm not dogging you for taking care of family. Family is the most important thing and comes first at all times. I am talking about the kid STILL not having a fully working vehicle.
