The 1st gen Vibes (2003-2008) are known for having less than stellar paintjobs.

I try to keep up with washing and waxing ours and they're always garaged, so they still look pretty damn good when clean.

Yep ! It will be 8 years old in a couple weeks (November 17th) and then in April, it will be 9 years that I've had it. It still looks and feels like a new car! It's my pride and joy and has been an amazing vehicle thus far!
