I'm sure a lot of you have heard of this car before. I've personally never really liked focuses, until I stumbled upon an article in motortrend "Road Test: 2004 Ford Racing Focus RS8 vs. 2004 Lamborghini Gallardo". This car not only looks 20x better than a stock focus, but its performance is unbelievable. With a 5.0 V8 420 horsepower engine, this focus could smoke most of the muscle cars on the road today. However with the engine and wiring harness alone costing $15,000, I think this car is hardly affordable for most of us. Anyways, its a pretty cool car.

ford has a whole brochure and price listings for v8 conversions of the focus. they actually encourage tuner's to undertake the transformation and provide ALL parts you need through ford distributors

its pretty sweet.

Some guy back home swapped a 302? or whatever fords smaller v8 is into iT, converted it to RWD and put a paxton supercharger on it. The scariest noises came outta that little car, had a badass interior and paint job too, i loved that car.

ive got the catalog for the conversion...and i could get it all for cost......hmmmmmm....naaaaa its still a focus

Yea, the pic of the engine is the one u can buy from ford, but the car is the turbocharged rs version only sold in europe cuz u can see the intercooler, i dunno maybe its just me. But ne ways the V8 focus is awsome and there is a vid of guy who did it on this site http://svtperformance.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=149&page=8&sort=lastpost&order=&pp=20&daysprune=30 , its sounds freakin amazing is all i have to say.
