i think pretty much every new van makes more hp than a j-body. would you like to haul 3 kids and $200 worth of groceries around with a chitty 4-cylinder?
and vans ARE cool. we had a rental Sienna ('04) for our vacation to NYC last year, and that thing was nice. it handled better than my car, i think. and it could do a pretty mean burnout. all i'm saying is, don't knock it till you tried it

I agree, if you can get past it being a van they rule. You can get them almost new very cheap because they dont have the resale. More room options cheaper and better gas mileage then SUV's. They are very safe, easy as hell to get stuff in and out. They are awesome for trips. Most new ones that aren't even that expensive come with TV's.
But I just cant bring myself to drive one around town all the time. I'm only 21 come on now I get to keep my dignity for another few years atleast.
It all makes sense... you're 15, you must think your cavalier falls under the "sports car" category and deserves more power than is needed? I guess you shoulda bought a van huh?

my dad had this 77 chevy van... rotating buckets in the back and BLUE SHAG carpet FLOOR TO CEILING. the entire thing was covered in shag.. so leet.

Not quite....our 05 Odyssey is at 244Hp/240Tq, but weighs 4475lbs! We bought a van because it was easy to get our kids in and out.
