Just curious.... out of the $300-$500 your plae charges for dyno and tune.... how much of that is for the dyno time? and how much is the cost of HPT license....

I would love to DYNO tune my car with HPT... but if it is $500 that is almost the cost of my own HPT... and while i cant use it as well as a dyno shop... at least i would have it for future mods and could use it for other cars down the road... where as i assume the dyno shop would want another $3-500 bucks for a retune after future mods....

So just trying to figure out what is best in the long run.

I am no tuning pro... but i would love to learn and try. I am a DIY kinda guy... yeah i could save alot of time and get things done better to leave it to the pros... but then i feel like the it is the Pros car... and it isnt really my own.

So i am torn.... one really good tune for $500... or all the tuning i want plus the experince and knowledge of self tuning for $700...

grrrr
