I want to get into tuning, but I have A LOT to learn so not to kill my engine >.<
Where should I start reading? I've read the 2 stickys in this forum, but that tells me mainly how to use HPT (which is what I'll probably end up using, but need more info on tuning alone before I start)

I don't see why people are suggesting to save first. Learning is harder than buying tools, so why not get the hard stuff out of the way first (unless of coarse you need the tools to learn).
Hopefully that new hpt guide gets posted soon.

That and save when you make an adjustment to 1 thing. Much easier than going back trying to figure out what you @!#$ up when you changed 47 things in the tune.

Get the book "advance engine management by Greg banish" it doeant go into full tuning detail but it will teach you how a engine works how tuning works everything you need to know. Start there first and go to HP tunes site and read read read.
