Wiring Wideband A/F Through EGR
Saturday, October 12, 2013 11:30 AM
Does anyone know if I can add a pin to the cpu where the egr should be, on a 99 cav without EGR? I want to run my wideband signal through the cpu so that I can log in hptuners. Does anyone know if this will work, and what pin on which connector do I need to add to make this work?

I appreciate any help, Thanks!

Does anyone have an ecu pinout diagram for a 99?

I'm pretty sure I've heard of this being done, but I don't know the details. I have the pro interface so there wouldn't be any bs.

Does anyone know where I can get an ecu pinout that shows the pin for egr?

The dealer knows all, now will he share is a different story, play nice maybe they will like you and help out. I wouldn't tell them its for tuning FYI just that you are trying to trace wires for your ERG (looking for a break in the wire or something and want to test between the junction box and the connector) its a lie but may give you the info you need.

ya, he will definitely give you that information since there is no EGR..

Wire it how I have mine, through the AC pressure sensor.... Purple with white wire and a toggle switch for the AC.

You can not wire it through the EGR on a 99 since it doesn't exist. You can wire it through the AC wire. "Tim Norton" wrote up a how to for the EGR. Just replace all the EGR stuff with the AC stuff, and you should be good to go.
