Xtreme Tuner Body Kit
Monday, December 06, 2004 9:00 AM
I read here someone used this kit or parts of it. I would like to know how low is it from stock. It's my daily driver and some of the roads around here can really almost eat stock ground effects let alone anything lower. also will it fit a 2005 i just picked up the car and the stock look needs some help.

i dont know for sure, but i assume its a 03-04 body kit, i think darkstars has it. if its for the 03-04s and your car looks like the 03-04 cavies then you can safely assume yes it will fit. like i said i dont know for sure, but i dont imagine it would be too much lower than the stock kit, maybe 3-5 inches lower, but if your roads like to eat stock body kits, i would put it on a daily driver, just my 2 cents.

like i said i dont know for sure, i am just assuming and guessing, wait for others to post. hope i helped
Pretty much the same as the LS Sport Front bumper, Its not very low.

Take a look in my Registry, I have a few pics.

My car is lowered prob 2.5", and I'm fine on my @!#$ty PA roads.

Only thing is you have to install over the original BASE model bumper, It is a COVER not a full replacement. (GAY)

So I'd recommend cutting out all the Grill parts of the base bumper, so there is a nice clean opening. (Where you can see my intercooler)

Nice bumper, fitment is great everywhere except at the sides of the headlights, where the bumper meets the fenders.

Good Luck!

my front is about 3 1/4- 3 1/2 inches off the ground, but I'm on prostreet coilovers also. I love the look of the front end but I don't like the sides or rear so I only got the front, but with LSport sides and rear you can see that the Xtreme tuner sits just a litle bit lower then the stock LS kit

also I did not use the flat piece that your surposed to put for the center grill, I think it looks better with the stock grill/bar thing
if it's just a cover does it look like it belongs there or like something you added later and how about dirt does it get packed in behind the cover. my truck has the factory fender flares and you can never get all the road grime out from behind them.

I got the whole kit!!!! Front looks awesome and i think the center grill piece will look right if theres a bowtie on there!!! As for the sides, they are lower but i havn't had a problem with them at stock height!!! I havn't put the rear piece on yet, but it i know it will look good too!!! You can pass with just the stock rear fascia!!! If you buy the kit keep in mind, that it is meant to fit on the stock cavy fascias not the LS, that is why the rear piece isn't on, i'm still waiting for a stock fascia i picked up as a gift!!! But as you can see theres no problem with the front and sides!!! Heres a @!#$ty pic of my car in case you havn't seen it!!!!!!!

yeah, the bowtie is on with tape, peels off with a little effort. However, there are some small scratches under mine - not sure where they came from.

Yea i broke my bowtie in 3 places when I took it off...didnt really matter anyway, not like I was gonna put it back on...I'm thinking about getting the c/f bowtie that steve wood made. Actually I am getting it, just have to pay for it, lol. Still trying to decide on getting the front of this kit though. I'm getting an entire LS sport kit for 200, thinking about trying to sell that front and spend a lil more cash to get the xtreme front...how is the fitment around the headlights and stuff, the reason I'm asking, is because my car's rebuilt, and the front is stilll a little messed up, there's a lil bit of a gap between my bumper and headlights....I've heard people say they had to trim the kit down to get it to fit right, so if i didnt trim it down, do you think it would fill the gaps any?

i did a road trip to montreal to get myne done, and was still drunk from the night before, so i didn't stick around while it was being put on!!! But i'm 99 % sure they didn't cut anything and the fitment is great!!!!!!!!!!!! The only way you can tell its a cover is if you don't cut the stock grill at the botton off, which i intend to do!!! i take some pics for ya but my bro borrowed the digi!!!
