I just called the dealership for the LAST time...they don't have a *&%$in clue over there.
My wife has a yellow 03 Cavalier LS. We just bought a yellow LS Sport body kit for it, so the front and rear bumpers need to be pulled off and the new bumpers and the rocker panels installed. Should the LS have the mounting points to do this? I can't see GM making the cars different for a body kit.
The dealer will not give me a quote to do this (the only reason I'm calling them is because they are right next door to where my wife works) unless I drag the car AND all 4 new pieces to them for a quote. I know they're gonna try to screw me.
When I asked the body shop manager if they had ever worked with the LS Sport kits, she said "no". WTF

WTF
You mean in the 3-4 years that these have been around, they have NEVER fixed ONE with this kit or don't know if they can put one on an LS? I HATE GM.
Anyway, any knowledge you can toss at me is very helpful. Thanks!
Steve
Let me appoligize for another dealers stipidity. Sorry. Yes the front and rear bumpers can interchange with no problem at all. I've done 2 at my house and I can't remember haveing any problems at all. The side skirts have like 11 clips along with 2 screws each and a handfull of self tapping bolts for this your gonna need a drill. The sides are the hardest part, take your time make sure you measure everything verryy well Cause you can't fix a drill hole. Drill them seal the bare metal with primer and color match paint
let dry then just push the clips into the holes. Then run all the self taping screws and bolts in, Stand back cross your arms nodd your head knowingly and enjoy.
Good luck.
Let me know if you need anymore help. Or you can e-mail me if you like
Semper Fi SAINT. May you rest in peace.
ya the front and rear are direct bolt on. i used diffrent sides so not sure on them but what ^^^^ said sounds right.
