Are there clear lenses available for the headlights on my 96 sunfire, also, are there clear backup light lenses, or lenses available without that stupid box pattern. Also, what would a new trunk panel cost me from pontiac, mines kinda scratched and i dunno how to get the scratches out (theya re in the plastic.

Clear headlight lenses are available for a limited time from URL=http://www.whiteboy.ca/]here.[/URL]

To my knowledge, there would be no true clear reverse or turn lenses on the market.

The reverse light housings can be removed, the lens removed carefully, and since it does not have a severe curve to it, a quick trip to the local home improvement store for some plexiglass or lexan should do the trick.

I take that back. It does have a 90 degree curve on the reverse light.

As far as the backup lights go, the only real way to get clear lenses would be to custom make your own or swap to a '00-'02 rear bumper.

As far as the trunk panel goes, I would try getting one from a junkyard first because chances are you will get charged an arm and a leg for a new one. If you plan on getting it painted to match the color of your car, then don't worry about the scratches because the body shop will sand it down before painting it any way.

so to swap to an 00-02 rear bumper and stuff for the clear backup lights, what would be needed? backup lights, rear bumper and the trunk panel? because if its all that mine as well do the '03 conversion

For the '00-'02 rear end swap all you would need is the rear bumper and the backup light housings. I have seen people keep their trunk panels with reverse lights even if they have the backup lights in the bumper too. I wouldn't worry too much about finding a trunk panel without backup lights. Again, if you plan on getting the trunk panel painted then definitely don't worry about the backup lights because it won't matter once it's painted. For an '03+ rear end conversion you would need a few more things, meaning more money, but it's really comes down to which rear end you like better and which one you want on your car.

I just thought of one thing though... if you have a '96 Coupe (which is what your registry says) why are you wondering about clear backup lights? Your backup lights are on the trunk panel and they're clear? Unless you are talking about wanting to get rid of the red reflectors on the bumper itself? Just wondering.
