i was thinkin on either painting or polishing my valve cover. Does anyone know if the gasket is reuseable, b4 i go buy a new one, and how hard is the cover to get off?

the cover has a bunch of bolts holding it down, you can see most of them easily, all 10mm, then take off the IDI cover and then theres 4 more bolts underneath, and AFIK its reuseable, its like an O ring, its easy to remove, and if your gonna paint it use high temp paint

the polished does look good... did you use a hand polisher or a large wheel... i'm kinda stuck between what i want here...my car is metallic grey and i want to bring that under the hood but than i would have to paint other parts...like the IDI... to match trim parts. If I polish i dont think i would have to cause everything looks good that way...as seen in Big Daddy's pic... and that would be just enough accent...i want to go red aswell to match my sub. Ahhhhgg decisions decisions...lol
