Hi, my window tints are old and they look blue. I am planning on changing them myself, (only the 2 sides)...

Is there any tip to remove the adhesive after taking the tint out ?

I heard a bunch of them like w40, ammonia, soap with water......

do you guys know any ?

I need a new sig =(

Ammonia will break the adhesion.
Otherwise use a razor on everything
EXCEPT REPEAT EXCEPT the rear
window. If you do you will strip you defrosters

Spray Windex on the adhesive, wait for it to soften and become gummy, razor blade it off. Repeat, repeat, repeat.

yup, windex and a razor blade. My boyfriend tints windows and that's what he does.

start with the top of the window.. put a razor blade between it and the window go slowly get ome going.. slowly.. start to pull it back going along the WHOLE TOP of the window not going down.. this will make it much easier and will keep it one piece. Once u get all teh way across start to go down a little and then work your way over ect. and repeat rol the window up as necessary and get some goo gone/ tar remover/ adhesive remover to get rid of the left overs if there is any
