i am thinking about getting the OEM or invader style hood for my 05 sunfire. where can i get the best price for one since the only place i can find is around 750 after shipping. (when i had my civic i picked on up for like 300) ill pay the extra if i have too. but anybody with a website recommendation or style would be great. btw its arrest me red color on the 05 sunfire.

try gravanatuning.com , thats where i got my invafder hood. i paid 600.00 after shipping, not too bad. Just think twice abiut the invader hood, it looks great, but it make installing an intake a bitch.

Ebay...I have the VIS invader hood.

does it affect how the intake runs (the invader hoods) because that is the one i was looking into getting but im about to order an intake from weapon-r for it and i dont know if the hood will get in the way. it's a 2.4

YES! DO NOT get the weapon r intake wit hthe invader hood. you will have trouble shutting the hood and it will rub constantly, eventually making a large bow in ur hood. I had the weapon r intake, it is the the highest sitting intake on the market and it rubbed on mine like a bitch, i tried mounting it every which way, nothing worked.. i would go with aem, there's is the lowest sitting.
