Ok I got a Carbon fiber hood coming from A plus performance and I was wondering if it is bad for the hood if i leave it on for the Minnesota winter or if it's ok. I have heard different things from different people and I couldn't find anything for sure about this. Thanks.
If you had an option of leaving it on, or using the stock hood for winter, I myself would use the stock hood....
The snow/ice could possibly scratch it and extreme cold on the hood could have some effects... I really don't know for sure though.

That was quick. I am probably going to leave it on until the really cold days then take it off then i know it will be ok. thanks a lot.
extreme weather changes can warp a CF hood, my buddies dosnt even fit anymore after leaving it on all winter here in good ol MI
I might as well just save myself the trouble and leave it on, the only place i owuld have to store it is outside anyways, so @!#$ it
I've head things about the salt. I've also seen a buddys get a little f'd up from it. Mines not a daily driver thank god and it doesn't get that bad here, but Im considering a fg hood!
if you can change it, id suggest doing so...You dont want to ruin the hood after spending all that money on it.
