I want to shave the key hole on the trunk. What could i use to fill it in? I was told fiberglass any others? and if i do this will i still be able to keep the glossy black look of it now?

Metal is the only thing that would work permanently.
^ exactly, i am working on shaving it on mine along with my inner taillights also.. just cut out a plate, spot weld and grind it down then do ur prep work and repaint.. also be careful if u weld, if u weld to much and it gets to hot it will warp.. i did 4 spot welds then let it cool off for like 30min, and then did 4 more inbetween the others.. worked out perfect

he has a sunfire, so he means the plastic piece, so welding wont help, you wont get it back to want its like now, you'll have to paint it, either body color or gloss black (pontiac will not light up then)
Bodypanel adhesive will bond plastics.
where i wanted to change the lettering to something else but i guess thats impossible unless i take another brake light and glass it into it and paint around letters... Thats a good idea. I would probably only have to glass in the lens
