Just as the title says.
Would a j-type 00-02 front bumper fit my 96 vert without having to do any mods?
Thanks

I believe it would, however would look like crap. The 2000 bumper accomidates the newer 2000 headlights, which are bigger. So you would have a pretty big gap between the bumper and headlight.

^^^^ what he said, you would have to to a headlight converoisn to cover the gap between the bottom of your headlight and the top of the bumper.

if you do the headlight conversion you need the 00-02 corner bracket also for the corner lights

Scotty, read the entire post man, there won't be a gap if he does the headlight and side light conversion. He is buying a front bumper cover for a 00-02 cavalier, which have bigger headlights. If he were to leave the headlights from his 95-99 on his car when he puts on the 00-02 front bumper cover, there is goin to be a gap from the bottom of teh headlight to the top of teh bumper. If he does teh headlight conversion, the lights are BIGGER, and the extra space from the headlights, will cover any gop that might be there form the other headlights.

you know i was thinking of trying to do something like that if i purchased that kit......that would definately be something original if someone done that. but i wonder if you could mold some type of polymer or something to urethane? if so that is something i may look into doing.
