What is the Invader hood good for? The way that the opening is does what to help with the car?
i would say just for looks, but it could quite possible suck the hot air out of the engine bay

yea i think it would suck some of the hot air out but its up front so i wonder if its even worth having it. Well that and the turbo is in the back. I guess the more hot air out the better.
hehe it would work for me since my header is right under the vent

i havn't really noticed any drop in temperature with versus without the invader hood... so it's pretty much just for weight reduction/looks. im sure it does help draw some hot air out though, but not a whole lot.
yeah i have read a few times that the vent pulls hot air out.....

I don't think most cav's have a heat problem anyway. at least on mine I'm nevermuch above thermostat temp

The invader hoods don't do a LOT in reducing heat but it does do a little. Like Cannon Fodder said it is mostly for weight reduction/looks.
