Are the non painted door handles the same as the painted. I have the plastic black ones and would like to paint match them to the car. If the handles are cheap enough, i might buy them anyway and paint them then just swap them one afternoon. The coupes look so much better with the handles painted. Thanks!

yep there the same. there riveted on to the car the best way to get them of is from the inside just drill out the rivets ( use a cobalt bit there strong rivits) and the handle should fall off.

If you dont want to drill them out and replace them you could just scuff them up a little. Spray some raw plastic adhesive on it, seal them, and basecoat/clear them.

Actually you can wet sand the door handles. apply primer afterwards. then paint them the same color as the car. thats what i did and it matched real well. i also did the mirror holsters. hope it goes well for you.
