i was wondering if it would be too ghetoo or ricy to get like an evo or oem cf hood for my 05 sunfire without having wheels? i really want/like on but i dont want to spend the money on wheels what do you guys think?
Id say youd be able to get away with an oem style one...but
I'd still go for rims first.
If you're rocking hubcaps, I'd get the rims first. I screwed up and did everything backwards on my first cav (crazy paint job, wing, euros, etc...then rims) and looking back, it looked aweful. It's your decision, though!
On a side note, I don't know how bad the winters get where you are, but if they get bad, you're not gonna put on rims or a c/f hood, are ya?? Winter can be bad for rims. Some people don't take off their c/f hoods and it's never a problem...but I'd be wary.
rims, lowering kit & then work on body styling...nothings worse than a nice looking car on steelies -- you could always get spinning hubcaps to set it off right
thats how i did it on my 98, i went with 16" wheels, intrax springs, then 18" velox wheels and then rk hood...
Rims, nuthin less than 16's IMO, springs, then hood.
ive got a cf hood on my cavy with the stock 16" chrome wheels and it looks clean.

You shouldnt care what other people think. Its your car, do what you want for YOU, not anyone else.
I agree it's your car and you should do what you want but I do agree on my own certain aspects possibly lower the car with good and decent suspension first then rims and then Hood/Bodykit after. But regardless what I think it's your car never the less don't let myself and anybody tell you other.

rawkin the steelies w/cf hood = teh ghey
and
'STOLEN!!!' nice to see ya premium..did i miss ya in AG
but there's a difference between that and puttin a CF on 'steelies' or just hubs

Okay, the first thing you need to do is lower the car and stiffen the suspension. Once you've finished that, get the rims, and it's whatever you want from there.

I'm just trying to help you not get a lot of unwanted out there in the real world.

Yeah, stock rims would be cool but I checked his profile and it didn't say whether he had hubcaps or rims....
I'm on the stockers right now, too.
But you can get a nice set of 16 or 17" rims and not pay tremendously. I got 16" Enkei RS-6's for my first set of rims. Not that expensive, yet perty.
well i sm on stock hubcaps right now. now if i can find like 17" gloss black wheels/tires for aound 600-700 then i would be able to afford an oem cf hood. but i am not to excited about messing with any suspension at the moment. probably later on down the road.
i have stock 16s and an OEM carbon fiber hood, but my car is black so the hood isnt as noticeable. i dont think it looks bad on my car, but then again, every car is different. do what your heart tells you
Yeah, those rims are pretty nice.
watch around on the org, i picked up my rims lowering kits and tires from a guy on here and he even helped install them. but i say get the hood that you want so you aren't unhappy after the fact because you had the oem and you wanted the evo.
