I have a friend that is takeing autobody and if I found a wreaked 03 i could just cut the bezels out and weld them in.

everything bolts up...no need for cutting or welding. All you
need to do is swap the rear bumper, tails, and trunk panel.

The rear bumper makes up for the difference in the tails. Its
a very easy swap.

If youre lucky you can find that piece in a junkyard for cheap. I
only paid 40 bucks for mine.

agreed, i got 2 of them from junk yards for $40 each. go to http://www.car-parts.com and search for tail lights, it'll be listed under "2 Dr, lid mtd". a salvage yard will be more than happy to ship it to you.

and it is a direct bolt up, doesn't take very long to do the swap, i've done it.

do you mean you did a search for how to do the swap, or for the trunk panel?

if you mean for the trunk panel, go to the link i gave you, and search for a 2003 sunfire, and for the part select tail light. hit search (search all of the US), and then it'll specify the 2 dr lid mtd. that's the piece you need, there's a ton of them on there.

cannon you sure its under tail light?? I found mine under
trunklid/tailgate

well, you can search for tailgate/trunklid, cause chances are if that's still in good shape, then the trunk panel is in good shape and you can order it from the salvage yard... but the panel itself it listed under tail light.
