Hey I am getting ready to redo my tint because it has faded. I was wondering whats the best way and easiest way to remove tint from the windows?
amonia and water, razor blade worked great for me--then use windex to clean off excess glue
very easy, put a line through the film w/ a razor, then peel off
just be careful removing the glue on the rear defroster. If you scrape those leads in the glass to hard you can break them and a zone will be in active in them. If you dont drive it in the winter then it wont be an issue
My tint was very far gone, all i had to do was cut a corner with a razor blade then peel it off, after that i just used glass cleaner to remover left over adheasive, mind you i think the previous owner tried to do diy tint and did a crappy job thus explaining why it came off so easy. So maybe you'll get lucky
