Toyota Cavalier Mirrors Fitment

I've done some searching and it seems everyone knows that the Cavalier mirrors need some fitment help if you have a set of 4 door style on a 2 door car... It appears, that for the second time, I have managed to get a set of 4 door mirrors. This time, though, I have the relay so I am keeping them and am going to make them work...

My question is does anyone have a picture of what you did to make them fit? I have opened the holes a lot and it is still not low enough to really fit and look right. If nobody took pictures, is anyone willing to pull one off a snap a pic? I'm just afraid that part of my problem has to do with a support point for the molding around the window... I hope I'm wrong... Thanks in advance.

i put a set of sedan mirrors on a 2dr that was totaled , and i drilled out 2 holes and put them in , and for a 5 minute hack job i did on each they seamed to fit pretty well

all i can suggest is take your time

but id guess the angle will be off slightly either along the A pilar of the door , or the bottom , since the sedan has a higher roof line

^thats what i did with mine^. i talked to matt teske at the 2004 bash, his mirrors were from a 4 door toyota, and he said once you get the bottom to fit along the bottom of the window he shaved the top of the mirror sail piece that mounts to the car to go along the lines of the window it self.

When I had mine I ended up drilling 2 holes bigger and then I had to cut a whole new hole for one of the bolts. Kinda wishing I still had them.
