Fiberglass question

I am re-doing my rear bumper and I was wondering what everyone used to add extra fiber glass on to their bumpers I just need something to start with any help would be great... what is the cloth called that everyone use's?

I think that they just use a generic colth, i don't think that they use anything special. I read a tread awhile back about one guy making speaker boxes and just using an old cotton shirt to start his mold.

^^^thats just for shape. for actual fiberglassing, you need chop mat, resin/hardener, paint brushes, gloves, mask, mixer/mixing bowl

I know how to and what I need fiberglass honey lol i just got done with my front bumper but I had something to build onto and start with on my rear bumper i have nothing so I just wondering what kind of material was used. But if you have that turbo really I would he happy to PM you

^^^^ahhhh, gotcha. to make shapes, i like to use either an old t-shirt if big enough, or fleece. fleece is good cus it soaks the resin up nicely, and is easily formable.

ps - pertaining to the old thread......girls that fiberglass are HAWT

but your shirts might not be big enough becasue of your small build.

lol .... they weren't so I took some of my Dad's he is 6'4 he has big shirts lol
