do you guys think no spoiler would look better or keep it on? i think it would look sexy : ), plus there are pic in the off topic forum where someone keyed my spoiler so it might jsut come off. cheaper cost fixed and beter results maybe?
i would need to see pictures of you car to judge man.
FOR SALE: (5) '95-'99 Z24 Rims
ok....
1. those pictures are not worthy of being called pictures of your spoiler.
2. i think sunfires look awesome without a spoiler.
yeah....better pictures are needed to judge, but spoilerless always looks hot.
i'm baaaaack!!
I've always loved spoiler-less Fires so I'd have to say that you should take it off.

Blown.
i like the look without the spoiler. i took mine off when i painted the my car, although i kept the rk sport spoiler. if you do it right and fill in the holes you should think about doing the antanae as well. but i do agree with blue that rims are in order..
Bluecavi wrote:get rims first......... And no, spoiler is hot! IMHO
ment to say keep the spoiler IMHO.
1971 camaro 427 --- here!

Stock... and loving every minute of it.
Do you like it on the car? Is it your taste? If you think you might like it with out the wing its only 4 bolts, unbolt it look at it see if you like it. If its something you like than great keep it off and get the holes filled. If you dont like it wingless than put the wing back on and let it be.
Its your car, no one should tell you what to do with it. You build it to your taste and to your standards not anyone elses.
I have to agree with Karo.
Dont give a damn about what people on here tell you. Do what you like. Doing what they say you should is called following the crowd, which is never good.
I persoanlly like the look without the spoiler, but do what karo said - take it off and see if you like it. If not, put it back on.
Wide Body Progress
lose it dude!!

Fires flow nicely without the spoiler. I say lose it.
I dig spoilerless Sunfires 90% of the time. With the right body kit, I think a spoilerless Sunfire would be tops. So I say, if you're getting a body kit in the future, ditch the spoiler. If you're not getting a body kit, then I think you should keep the spoiler.
a sunfire with no spoiler reminds me of an aurora... i have the rksport one without the factory one and i like it. another thing to maybe consider is if you can remove it. I know in MD any vehicle 1983 and new is required to have a third brake light in the center of the vehicle at a higher point than the other 2. so since the 3rd light is built into the spoiler I pray that i dont get pulled over and given an inspection ticket..... b/c i will fail

Agreed...that's what it ultimately comes down to.
In my opinion...I
hate spoilerless sunfires...we need something on the back.

I hear ya. I find they end up looking kinda goofy and egg-shaped. This is especially true for the stock 95-99's since the bumper is so round as well.
There's a few around with body work though that end up looking good. If I recall correctly, Piparo doesn't have a spoiler and has one of the hottest Sunfire's in existance.
Listen to Karo. Some good advice there.

the only reason i thought to take it off is because it got keyed and all messed up
pic are in another fourm. but the only way i will get a body kit is if one of my friends dads can get me a deal on paint that he is talking about. also in i believe the noobies thread is my winter plans thread with the pictures of the wheels that are on there way 18"s
