LED lamp problem
Sunday, December 18, 2005 12:00 PM
Hey guys, I installed some LED replacement bulbs in my taillights and front corner light but I'm having problems. I put them in the rear and had no problems but as soon as I put them in the front they stopped blinking. The only thing that happens when I put on my turn signal is a buzzing sound that seems to be coming from the dash. I've tried resistors made specifically for this but it didn't work. Any help will be appreciated.

Where is the flasher located and where are you getting yours? If it's easy to get to I'll swap it.

there are electronic flashers, they cost quite a bit more but are specifically designed to flash LED's just like regular bulbs.....
The reason why it stoped blinking is cuz you took all the load off of the flasher by removing all normal bulbs....
See, LED's have a very insignificant load, compared to a normal bulb.............

Thats why I installed resistors, but it didn't work.

could be that there is too much load on the OEM flasher with the resistors in place... I'll second (or third) the LED designed flasher...
