SFGT used spraypaint, unfortunately he has to paint it on a regular basis, I'd get it powder coated if possible, although mine is also high temp spray paint.

It shouldn't affect anything at all.

I will be getting my engine cover powder coated within the next few weeks. In my opinion powder coating is the best way to go with parts like that because it's cheap, it's supposed to hold up for at least ten years without chipping, cracking, fading, etc. and it gives an incredible shine just like the paint on a car. Just my .02 though.

I've always had good luck with just regular paint.

Yea I'm thinking of hitting up Ruben and getting the polished valve cover and getting either the whole thing except the lines powder coated or the other way around. Also looking at getting metal piping to replace the plastic AEM intake part and powder coating that. Any ideas on a intake that will work?

Well you have ABS thats a shame cause the INJEN one looks great all polished and pretty but it won't clear the modual and bracket for the ABS without modding it. Of
corse I went off what the manufacturer said so I bought it liked it too much so I modded and made it fit. The INJEN one is aluminum the whole way up to the TB.

If you decide to go with it let me know and I'll tell you what to do so you won't have trial and error crap I did.
