My father recently got my front bumper dented on the front right. I own a '00 2.2l. i have always wanted to put foglights on my car but didn't like how they would fit on the 2.2l bumper. i was wondering if there were any differences between the z24 and the base model cavalier front bumper... because if not i would like to purchase one and put foglights on the z24 bumper
No differences, besides the actual part where the fog lights are versus the grille you have, mounting points etc. are the same for ya though.

Is the Z24 bumper "lower" to match the ground effects (side skirts and rear bumper) or is it exactly the same as the base model bumper? I'm thinking about doing the same thing

Cavalier LS , notice the FRONT Bumper and the Headlights.
Here is the Cavalier Z-24. Notice the Fog Lamps, and a lower front valence.

z24's are not lower than the base model in 00-02 the ls sport pictures in black above, has the front and rear lips which are lower and match up with the side skirts. and everything will bolt up, you will either have to get a new dimmer switch panel with the fog light switch or put a aftermarket switch in for them.
