Start with the backside first by "V" ing out the crack. scratch up the area around the crack (about 2inches from the crack on each side) with 40 grit sandpaper. Now drill 1/8 holes along both sides of the crack and one at the very end of the crack to prevent it from going further. If you have some mesh tape (like what they use for drywalling), lay a piece on the crack (the same length of the crack). Oh if you have the adhesion promoter for the Fusor, spray that on before the mesh tape(only if you have it.....its not absolutely necessary but does help). Now take the #142 Fusor and apply to the backside over the mesh tape.....hurry cause you only have like 30 seconds to work with it. Use something to spread it out evenly and make sure it goes into the holes and fill in the "V" groove. Let that sit for a few minute then flip the bumper or what ever peice you are fixing over and cut off the excess that came through the holes. Sand the outside with 80 grit down to the plastic (remove the paint) and then apply #114 Fusor over the area of the crack (not too thick though). Let dry... then sand to an even surface. This is just a quick instruction on how to repair a cracked bumper....this can be used for all types of plastics including urethane, PP, TPO,ABS, etc. These directions can be used for other epoxys as well. You can also plastic weld it...alittle harder but works great. Sorry if some things don't make sense or are hard to understand but I hope this helps abit. I don't know where you can get the Fusor, Duramix, or whatever epoxy you are going to use. I work in a bodyshop so I have access to this stuff.....but I guess if you check out some auto parts they may have. If you have any questions just post and I'll try help you out.
