I've always had the same problem. I need to replace all the rubber on the top but don't have the money. Even then I'm pretty sure it'll still leak. Anybody got any tips on how to fix this?

Hey guys, I have a convertible and sealing it up ws my first concern cause nothing pissed me off morethan finding water in my car on a rainy day. Here's what I did:

Main poitns of leakage are anywhere two seals meet!! Around the top, near the middle of the door sills, etc. You defiantely going to want to find ALL of those spots.
If you go to your local pet store they will usually have an "Aquarium Sealent" it's basically silicone but it's tough stuff!!!

On the mirrors basically just take off the mirror and gently pry the seals. If you can't get teh seals off with out damaging them than just dab a little bit of sealant on the leaky spots. For around the top of the window, put some sealant into the place where your having leaks then close the top over the sealant and give it a good couple hours to dry. Once the aquarium sealant is dry open the top GENTLY. If the sealant begins to peel off the top of the windshield put a little more sealant under it and squash it down again. This sould create a nice clear moulded sealer agains the sill. This has worked wonders for me in the past and hopefully will help you guys out too. It's inexpensive and effective.

If you guys want more instruction or some pictures of how I did mine let me know and I'll get some for ya.
