Hey, i just put my new cf hood on my sunfire today; and i am just wondering when a coat of wax should be applied, should i wait awhile first; will it hurt if i put a coat of wax on her right away?
Its a vis hood, so i am not sure what finish is on the hood; i think it has a clear coat on it, not sure.
What do yall think i should so; wax it or know.......

i use these. They can only be found in a professional body supply shop.

Just to show what is does on the hoods.
do a quick search, this is brought up alot, the last time it was brought it it turned into like 3 days of info, even got into waxing vs. clear coating

I tried quick search; it brought me my own post i have made; that is it.
Anyone with a vis cf hood on their car; did you wax it; if so is any wax safe to use?
I use only meguiars products; will that be good?

Terry i used meguiars polish and deep crystal wax (there part of the 3 stage system) on my vis hood for almost 3 years and the finish on the hood still looked almost as good as a new one, not to mention the hood was through 3 pa winters which are harsh on anything, so i would say yes i would do it about every 3 months.
