I have access to a gm specific scan tool, and is it possible to disable the drl's with it. I tried it today and i couldn't find where to go. Is there a upgrade i need to install on the scan tool? or a reflash? any help would be great.
its easy to do by just clipping the dark blue wire under your dash and ground it. someone will link you to the site but i dont remember where its at. its VERY simple though.
I think it has to be a TECH-2 scanner. They are not cheap/easy to get ahold of and not the same as a regular OBD-2 scanner. If you can verify that you have a tech-2 then I'm sure someone will chime in pretty quickly to help.

if it is a tech2 you do it under body and make it a mexico model
im telling you, clip the dark blue wire in the BCM under the dash, ground that wire to the steering column, you will need a wire to extend it that far. bam your done.
DRL disable link...I think this is the link...that'll be cool to use a little computer thing to do it...less grunt work
