i noticed that my vis cf hood has gotten all hazy like the top layer of clear has white spots or something on it. my friend said to wetsand and buff it out but he did it on his own cf hood and it made it worse. so im just wondering if there is any special waxes or procedures to restore the look of the hood?thanks

I hand buffed everything out. An electric buffer would have been nicer, but i didn't feel the need to spend 50 bucks on a buffer.. lol

Yup i have a vis cf hood as well; and on the front part i have them white spots as well you can see when you are up close to the hood; still looks good when she is all clean and waxed up; but the spots are still there...
So buffing takes care of the spots?
What kind of product do you use to buff with?

Buff with the 3M product vigorously. I did mine with a bright work light so i could see the progress of removing everything. When your done with that, hit it with the meguiars product. Bitch looks like glass.
