Thanks. I am very happy with it, considering this is my first time. Just wait till tomorrow. Then i can take some good pics.
nice work from what i can see.
A big reason the "body techs" on here won't post a how to on the subject, is it IS too complicated and advanced for those not willing to do the necessary research. MOST people don't want to do the research and just want someone to "tell them how to do it". So no one explains it because it would end up being like talking to a brick wall. If more people were willing to do the research, I'm sure more of us body techs would be more willing to take the time to help out on THAT level... but you have to admit... most org people arn't willing to do any research on the subject. Heck most people are too lazy to read the stickies... so I hope you understand where us body techs are coming from.
On that note, kudos to you for actually taking the time to do the research needed in order to do a good job. There needs to be more org people willing to do the research or at least a good bit of it to show they're serious... and there needs to be more org people who do NOT argue with the advice the techs DO give. I know I've had instances where I've given advice and I was told my place was "in the kitchen making this certain male bacon and eggs" and ignore anything I said trying to help.
So again, good job!!! now get some bigger and more pics!! LOL
How do i enlarge the pictures. is it when i am uploading them to my laptop or do i need to simply change the seting on my camera?
i see orange peel and overspray on a headlight.

I think its the image host you uploaded to... try imageshack.us or photobucket.com

I actually like my mirrors black, the handles I might like matched though. Maybe he felt the same. Looks like a good job, I don't think I would have the balls to take the task on myself. Have fun!
good for you for trying. looks like it turend out nicley.
yeah def need better pics...but from what it looks like youve done a good job. kudos
#1: you seriously need to do something with those corner lights. they aren't fitting even close and it detracts from everything else.
#2: you went through all that trouble fixing stuff, but you left that dent in the front of the hood. why didn't you fix that?
#3: nice work on the quarter panel.
#4: you're missing your antena.
tha_prowler- Yeah i noticed the over spray and i plan to get some mesh from home depot within the next couple days. Hopefully that will take care of that problem, but otherwise like you said not bad for my first time.
cannon fodder- #1 I hate those corners. For some reason they sit about 2" away from where they are supposed be. But they are going to replaced soon also.
#2 Where do you see the dent at? Strangely enough i thought something looked slightly odd when i was looking at the hood but for some reason i thought of it more as a "wavy" look than a specific dent.
#3 Thanks. It was the most time consuming of everything.
#4 Who listens to the radio anyway.
looks great i did the same on my old sunire, but it never saw the paint booth due to the eng blowing n me sellin it off b/c i was tired of stuff breaking every time i turned around. great work though

He forgot to mention
#5 fixing the rear bumper sag/wave
#6 buffing the headlights to clear them up and get rid of the foginess
#7 fixing your overspray on the radiator
#8 painting your rear metal bumper to black
#9 take off your 1 hubcap lol.
Paint looks pretty good though.

LoL, you guys kill me sometimes. but here we go.
#5- Any suggestions on how o accomplish that? maybe some L shaped bracktets? It was a pain in the a$$ just to get the kit on. You really do get what you pay for. In my opinion i turned crap to silver. not at the gold level yet
#6- I going to get to it but i am looking at these black headlights on ebay.
#7-I was just going to throw some mesh over the front and back. Should cover the overspray. Have to remember though, my car will never be a show car but I want her to look "decent" just the same.
#8-" "
#9- Coming off as we speak. Your the second one to burn me on the hub. My dad was the first. I was like d'oh!
I'm not questioning anything you did, but I am curious as to what steps you took to fix everything, and what processes you took to learn how to spray your car. I'm not asking to learn, I'm just asking cuz I'm curious as to what you personally did. I had to fix a huge dent in my rear quarter panel, but I molded the bodykit to the car. bigger pictures would be nice. I would like to see the paint job you did a little better. But good job taking the innitiative, and trying something out yourself that you haven't done before.
