alright i have the type j kit and when i put the front bumper on i made the mistake of taking the whole honeycomb looking thing completely off instead of cutting just what needed to be cut off. didnt know at the time because rksport gave me no directions big surprise right! well anyways know the bumper does not fit properly and i also dont have the crush absorber piece. and i cant get one from the junkyard because they think its part of the bumper so they wont sell it seperate and the dealer wants 130.00 for it f*ck that so does any one know what i should do ? and will the other version that doesnt look like honeycomb work the styrofoam one of the newer cavs work also mine is a 97 by the way thanks

L-brackets should help fix the problem

Well, I know the foam in 95-99 Z24 bumpers are interchangable on regular ones of the same year so you could try that and cut it to fit. But it shouldn't be that hard to find a junkyard that lets you pull things yourself, look in the phone book.
